MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Manuscript Preparation

Proper manuscript preparation is essential for maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, clarity, and readability. Authors submitting to The Journal of Novel Pharmaceutical Discoveries (JNPD) are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

Language and Style

Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and professional English. Authors are encouraged to use an active voice wherever possible and to avoid unnecessary jargon or overly complex sentences. Writing should be precise, coherent, and accessible to a wide scientific audience.

Manuscript Structure

For consistency and clarity, manuscripts should adhere to the following structure:

  • Title: The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the main findings of the study.
  • Abstract (≤250 words): Provide a structured abstract including Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. The abstract should summarize the study’s objectives, key findings, and significance.
  • Keywords: Include 4–6 relevant keywords to enhance indexing and discoverability.
  • Introduction: Present the research background, the problem being addressed, and the study objectives. Clearly outline the rationale and significance of the research.
  • Materials & Methods: Describe the experimental or research procedures in sufficient detail to allow reproducibility by other researchers. Include information on study design, data collection, and analysis methods.
  • Results: Present your findings clearly and logically. Use figures and tables to enhance clarity and support the text. Ensure that all figures and tables are properly labeled and numbered.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results in the context of existing literature. Highlight the significance, novelty, and implications of your findings. Discuss potential limitations and suggest future research directions.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the key outcomes of the study and their broader implications for pharmaceutical science.
  • References: List all references in a consistent format, following Vancouver or APA style as appropriate. Ensure all citations in the text are included in the reference list.

Figures and Tables

All figures and tables should be of high resolution (≥300 dpi) to ensure clarity in print and online publication. Number figures and tables consecutively and cite them in the text. Each figure or table should have a descriptive legend that allows readers to understand the content without referring back to the main text.

Ethical Considerations

Manuscripts reporting studies involving humans or animals must include a statement confirming ethical approval from the relevant institutional review board. Authors must also declare any potential conflicts of interest to maintain transparency and integrity in research publication.
